resizepdf.in is built around browser-side PDF compression. In the main tool, your PDF is processed on your device and is not uploaded to our servers as part of normal operation.

Information We Collect

We may collect limited technical and usage data such as page views, device/browser information, referring pages, and high-level tool events (for example upload click, compress click, and download click). We do not intentionally collect PDF document contents in analytics.

How File Processing Works

PDF files are handled locally in your browser for the primary compression flows. Because of this client-side design, files usually never leave your device. If a future fallback mode requires server-side processing, it will be clearly disclosed in-product before use.

Cookies and Analytics

We may use analytics tools (such as GA4) to understand performance and improve features. These tools can set cookies or similar identifiers. You can control cookie behavior through your browser settings.

Data Retention

Since files are processed locally for the main flow, we do not maintain a server-side file archive of your PDFs by default. Analytics and operational logs may be retained for security, debugging, and service improvement for a limited period.

Third-Party Services

We may rely on third-party infrastructure for hosting, monitoring, and analytics. Those providers process data under their own privacy terms.

Children's Privacy

The service is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and remove it where applicable.
